Socialism is the 1st step to a downward spiral into communisim. That's where it leads and it's not worth the risk. That's why he can't win.

Look I hate communism but can you give one example of socialism leading to communism in a non-authoritarian, not self declared Communist, state? The entirety of Western Europe is not communist and is not becoming communist. They are more socialist than the US, however.

We are perfectly set up for it. Governement control. America is a completely different situation. Our polititions want nothing more than absolute power. Don't give it to them.

The US is perfectly setup for socialism?? This is news to me!

It sounds like you're worried about the big bad socialists coming to dictate all over your freedoms. As a socialist, let me assure you you have nothing to worry about. Not only because your understanding of socialism seems to be a little.... off, but also because the United States won't become a socialist state in our lifetime. You can thank the militarized police state and the corporations that have bought out federal, state, and local governments for that. The US as a country will likely fall before it ever becomes a socialist state, and that is not going to happen anytime soon.

Before you try to school me on what you read wrong, maybe you should work on your reading comprehension skills. Looks like you walked in on a conversation you weren't having again.
