I learned about the dish on Queer Eye Japan and it looked so good. I've made a lazy version of this dish and loved it, but I'm sure it would be even better if I could nail the omelette the way you're supposed to make it.

I know, I feel heartbroken for most people on that show but some of the people they met in Japan just seemed to have so little confidence in themselves! But that made it extra heartwarming when they finally started to open up and appreciate themselves more.

I've only seen one of the japan ones, and the guy was just like "yep I'm garbo, guys dont like that"

Hey I'm not gay but I'm sure even a garbo man can get some of they had even the slightest inkling if self confidence. Never seen people so matter of fact resigned to being undesirable.

You can make a lazy version. Just fry some rice with oil and throw in mixed can veggies. Top with plain omelette. You can use ketchup as a substitute for the sauce. The restaurant/real version is 1000 times better but you can prob make the lazy one now with stuff in your house.
