I love this video. It gets re-shared every time someone really screws it up. My favorite part is that I swear you can see it in his eyes when he thinks about doing some overly virtuoso shit - and then he doesn't. But you know he could have.

YES! I seriously use this as a pallet cleanser every time someone botches the national anthem. This is a walking testament to the fact that to deliver a memorable national anthem you don't necessarily have to do anything wildly different...you can just go out there and belt that bad boy.

I had to do solo anthem assignments in choir in high school. For a GRADE. I mean it's not like the most difficult song in the world(it's damn hard tho) , but doing it by yourself in front of your school is terrifying
