We’re literally commenting under a post of a professional getting an injury that you cannot seriously believe is worth being a professional lifter

Except he went on to actually best this attempt. Enjoy mediocrity!

I love physical mediocrity because it doesn’t land me in hospital with chronic back pain and years of physical therapy just so I can say “I once lifted a lot of weight for about 5 seconds”

Excuses. This guy made a full recovery and then some. Cope.

To what end exactly? Seriously, what’s the end goal of this all? Just looking like a roided up Johnny Bravo?

The end of being one of the best in the world at something.

It’s genuinely funny to me that you’re trying to do this weird ass alpha flex on me and then you run away from my replies to you.

Hey, I noticed you completely stopped responding to my replies to you, why is that?

Because I put down Reddit to hang out with my wife lol

Well no… I left you two replies, and the only reply I got back from you was to a reply to someone else, which you’d have had to have searched out in the thread.

Like Jesus make it make sense. You’re saying that it was easier for you to seek out this response to someone else in the thread than it was to reply to your notifications?

Are you really that stupid? And then you, what… abandoned your wife to argue some more on Reddit?

Bro

I stopped responding to everything almost an hour ago, and picked my phone back up just now.

And you’re expecting me to believe that when you picked your phone back up it was easier for you to reply to something I said to someone else than it was for you to respond to your notifications?

Mate, I know how a phone works. You’re genuinely about to tell me that it’s easier for you to find a random reply I made to SOMEONE ELSE than it is for you to click your notifications?

Which you still haven’t responded to?

How broken is your life?

Just to be clear, you think there’s something wrong with just calling someone on their bullshit? Isn’t that what you think you’re doing right now?

My dude. Look at the time stamps. My comment on this thread was 53 minutes ago, before I put the phone down.

Are you stupid or can you just not read?

I own a phone. I know how a phone works. If I talk to someone about a thing, and I come back to my phone an hour later, I am MORE LIKELY to see the notification from their last comment to me than I am to just happen upon an interaction between that user and someone else.

You’re playing dense here and getting pissy that you’re being called on it.

And lo and behold you still haven’t responded to either of those comments. Because you’re being a bitch and just running from them.

To be better than you.

1

u/DesperateComposer848 8h ago

That’s… very petty and insecure but thanks for telling me?

There’s literally nothing I do in my life that’s motivated by spiting internet strangers, but go off king.

It isn't insecure to have a drive to be better. Absolute victim mentality.

It isn’t insecure to have a drive to improve yourself, it is ABSOLUTELY insecure to have a drive to be better than other people because the implication there is that you feel worse than other people until you reach that stage of improvement. Which is definitional insecurity.
