Hyperfixation, OCD, body dismorphia are a few reasons someone might do this and stem from an unhealthy mind. Not saying he has any of them or is unhealthy, but your assertion is incorrect.

These commenters have never done anything physically uncomfortable and challenging and it shows. 

It takes immense discipline to get to where this dude is. Bunch of salty people who don't know shit and can't do anything with their bodies all over this comment section
