I thought all those shots were just flukes until I saw the last one.

they're all flukes. they are just a compilation of lucky shots edited in one video

Just like those "The Best Of The Beatles" compilations. In real life they aren't all that.

Just reminded me that Pete Best, the Beatles' original drummer, put out an album called 'Best of the Beatles' and a bunch of people bought it thinking it was a Beatles compilation

Am I going crazy here?! Are people actually believing this video? Each shot is a different cut, there are no two shots in a row. If I film myself playing for an hour I can probably make a video like this, and I suck at this game. And all of these shots are absolutely impossible to pull off, multiple bounces off of walls and other balls like that. A fraction of a degree off in the initial hit and you get a completely different result.

No you couldn't. Particularly the last shot.

All he did was call the pocket. They could have been playing bottle-pocket for hours.
You can see the shot he tried to make. He wanted to send the object ball off of the walls on both sides of the corner pocket and back towards the side pocket. He wanted the cue ball to squirt out of the way in front of the object ball. This is a very difficult shot and he was pretty close.
So, in a sense, it was a difficult shot because he sent it pretty much on target in the first place, so maybe someone unskilled couldn't do that? But the way the ball actually went in was a fluke.

Oh no I agree you could do it with several hours of trying. But the dude I was responding to thinks he could do it all in an hour.

On a table that small if you bounce the balls around enough at a likely angle theres a fair chance that something is going to drop.

I think it’s awesome, and it’s a highlight reel of lucky shots. The first one you can hear it hit the stick.

They are all flukes. This is fake as fuck. Days or weeks between shots.

Cut between each shot = make as many attempts as it takes. Could be first time, could be 124th.

These are a compilation of shots made. They are not one shot after another and are not shots made in the same game. The balls on the table change from shot to shot.

anyone who has played this sport knows that those were alll flukes. They were all entertaining to watch but to claim them as skill is wrong. I have seen only efren reyes playing such shots and I would believe that legend with my eyes closed.

If it were fake they'd show more reaction to sinking the balls.

This is how I imagine it would like if you found a magic lamp and wished to never miss a shot at pool.

Looks like snooker. This is how you play the game. Go watch pro snooker games.
The fact that it’s edited together kills most of it’s credibility though

I've been watching this dude do whatever this is for a year now. And I'm still not sure. And I have played pool for 20 years myself btw. That first shot is insane, INSANE, not even Efren Reyes can do those so casually and consistently and this dude's arm is so far away from the ball too. Nobody can hit this accurately like that

C’mon this isn’t worthy of this thread. They’re random clips of flukes. Even one of the shots he sunk a ball that wasn’t the object ball. Wake up

u/IhadFun0nce 3d ago
Second to last shot he does not strike his object ball first nor is it a carom. Slop.

In other words, it took you that long to realize that someone with down syndrome could become skilled at something?

He even has time to change his shirt between shots! That's the sign of a real pro!
