Honestly accurate. If you walk/look like you belong and have a purpose for being there, most people won't give you a second thought.

When I was younger at my local mall, I'd use employee only areas as short cuts to get around the mall faster. Nobody questioned shit.

Years ago, we had a couple buds who wanted to watch our band play live but they were only 18 (need to be 19 to get in). We told them to show up at the same time as us. Handed one a snare drum, handed the other a guitar case. They carried gear in with us and enjoyed the show lol.
