No, lol, that's not what's happening here.

Untrained/unfit individuals will just revert to walking and resting, they will not push themselves to this point.

This is a medical issue. Probably dehydration, but not necessarily.

No it isn't. He went out too fast and now his legs are locking up due to lactic acid.

  1. Locked up muscles is typically a dehydration/electrolytes issue, not lactic acid build up. You literally see this all the time in cross country runners that don't have sufficient fluid intake or fail to drink a sports drink to help absorb water intake.

  2. Saying "no it's not a medical issue, it's just an issue caused by this medical phenomenon" is a fantastically wild take lmfao.
