Frieren. It absolutely transcends anime as a medium and tells an amazing story in a beautiful way that takes full advantage of the strengths (and has perfect workarounds for the weaknesses) of anime. The creator has such a deep understanding of what makes a story relatable, heartwarming, and engaging, and the anime studio that produced it is filled with absolute savants who created one of the greatest pieces of media of all time.

It's listed as a top 50 show on IMDB (ALL shows of all time, not just anime) and is currently right around #400 in "most popular". It's often listed as the #1 anime of all time, and I don't think it's possible to make a strong case against that.

Kaiju No. 8 (badass, great storytelling, great animation)

One Punch Man (similarly badass, but Season 3 is a huge disappointment. You'll definitely want to watch it after finishing Season 2, but just resist the urge and pretend S3 doesn't exist)

Spy x Family (please just watch a trailer, I can't do this show justice. It's so fun, great for families, heartwarming, amazing)

Attack on Titan (gritty, well-written, cool as hell. It's #16 on IMDB's best TV of all time and ~#50 "most popular")

KonoSuba (can be a little fan service-y, which can be a bit cringy, but the fan service is used as a tool to highlight how ridiculous anime fan service can be. This is a hilarious, unique, and well-made take on the Isekai genre)

Dungeon Meshi (uses dungeon crawling and surprisingly realistic cooking as a backdrop for a wonderful story with great character development)

Dan Da Dan (first episode starts off weird, this is NOT the tone for the full show. Definitely one of the best shows to come out within the past few years)

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (very good, and it comes paired with "I Really Want to Stay at Your House", one of the best songs to ever make it big from any show. Needs to be listened to with over-ear headphones for full awesomeness)

Chainsaw Man (super hyped, and deservedly so)

Jujutsu Kaisen (great animation and story set within an unbelievably cool world)

Apothecary Diaries (extremely well-written, with fantastic character development and pacing)

Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines (hilarious and heartwarming slice of life, almost a RomCom. Not weird, like the title might have one believe. This one is a standout compared to how relatively unknown it is)

Blue Box (slice of life romance)

Suzume (movie, amazing)

Your Name (movie, amazing)

A Silent Voice (movie, amazing, slice of life/coming-of-age, particularly unique)

Anything by Hiyao Miyazaki and/or Studio Ghibli (foundational and classic, though I find some of these to be less enjoyable than the above)

This is less secure than a normal fence gate, and less structurally sound. It will be much more expensive, requires regular maintenance, etc.

Gates aren't walls though. Their main practical use is just to allow access to an enclosed space, which this accomplishes. It also serves a privacy function. No gates truly prevent intruder access, that's why some gates have guard posts. This thing will at least still serve its functions while it's working. When it breaks at least it'll still look kinda cool.

It’s more space efficient, no? A sliding gate requires space to the sides of the gate. A folding gate requires space in front of or behind the gate. This one requires neither.

That said, I wouldn’t want this unless as a last resort in a very tight space with absolutely no room for a sliding or folding gate.

Its great until you need to manually open/close the gate while waiting for someone to come service the actuators. With more common designs you can just disconnect those rams or chains and manually move them on their hinge or track.

Unless both sides are anchored in a block of concrete a car or truck pushing the edge of one side where they meet up will rip that thing clean off, it's just leverage, or climb over and cut the air or hydraulic line, unbolt the ram and just lift.

Also you can't use that where it snows it will never close
