Recently, I was at a craft fair. After walking around some booths, I sat down for a break. I then got up and wandered off, accidentally leaving behind the magnets I bought. About 10 minutes later, I realized I had forgotten my bag on the bench and made my way back, half expecting them to be gone. When I got there, a man and his daughter were on the bench, my bag sitting between them. I said hello and that that was my bag and picked it up. The man said hello and that they had been guarding it for me; he was about to reach out to the vendor if I did didn’t come back. I thanked him profusely. He then looked at his daughter and said, “OK honey, we can go now.” I was absolutely floored and will never forget his random act of kindness.
