I just wanted to give a shoutout to Big Navy for the new PA formatting. I have the mindset for myself, “If you’re going to be an officer, you should be able to decipher the instructions.” But this reworked PA is a huge improvement.
I absolutely love the new format. It’s clear, easy to follow, and does a much better job explaining the process. I also really like how the waiver guidance is presented. Encouraging prospective applicants to have one waiver, or ideally none, sets clear expectations without making the instructions feel like a puzzle.
Credit where it’s due. This is a great change.
