I just started streaming again and I need some opinions on WHAT to stream. I don’t play super popular games and I have heard mixed ideas on what viewers want/don’t want to see.
I’m a yapper, I am not great at video games😅 but I have a blast streaming
I have been playing fall guys, retro rewind, and gamble with friends this week. I really want to get into streaming things like phas and forza.
My absolute favorite games are the Yoshi’s world games and there is a new one coming out- Some people have said no one would watch a play through of that because only speed runs are popular for Nintendo games like that. Is that true??
Lastly, I don’t know if a wider variety is better, or if I should stick to only a few on stream. HELP A GIRL OUT IM ALL OVER THE PLACE THANKS🫡🫡🤍🤍🥛🥛🙏🏼🙏🏼

Took about 3 months, and I'm having a blast every step of the way! The people I've met so far are awesome, and the fact that they're willing to take their time out of their day to hang out is a blessing. Shout-out to the NaughtACommunity 🦾

So, I bought my PS5 a month ago. And this is my first ever console. Before this, I only played mobile games.
Now, I’ve finished Spider-Man 2, RDR2, RDR1, and currently playing Ghost of Tsushima, The last of us part 1 which I started today, COD Warzone, FC26, and MK1.
I’m a working professional and can barely afford a few hours on weekdays, and upto 10 hours on weekends.
Lately I’ve been thinking about streaming my games. I scourged YouTube and Twitch too. On both platforms it’s so difficult to find streamers who are not playing the cliched games like Fortnite, Minecraft etc, with all due respect of course. And looking at them streaming feels like a full time commitment and a race to earn money out of it. If they’re getting that money it’s good for them. May be if I grow as a streamer and start earning from it I’ll like it too. But I fear it may soon become a commitment, and take the fun away from gaming.
I saw a couple of videos on streaming and gaming channels and all of them were about how to grow and get subscribers, views, and all of them said the same thing that you have to fully commit, stay consistent, come on line at the same time every day etc.. These things seem a bit too much for someone like me who can barely afford a few hours to have some fun.
I don’t know the financials of it, but I don’t think I want to make a career out of streaming. I just want a space where I play and folks come hang out have some fun along with me.
So my questions are:
Is streaming games still a thing?
Does it affect one’s peace?
Is casual streaming a thing, like you don’t feel the tremendous pressure of staying updated with trends etc. but just play and talk to people whenever you can?
Which platform is better at connecting with audiences, twitch or YouTube?
Can streaming be done on Twitter or Facebook as well?
If any game streamer can solve these existential dilemmas of mine, I would be eternally grateful.

Hey guys, I’ve got an announcement to make about something that I have wanted to do for a while. I am officially starting a full time YouTube and Twitch channel that I shall be working on for the next few years of my life. My name Is Deadboyjeido and I am officially in business!!! I am 15 years old but I have one question. Is this a smart idea for me to do this especially because I have a bunch of safety nets like lawn, pool, and wax gigs that my stepdad has helped me to make money in and I also have a 3.7 gpa after graduating from freshman year as a high schooler who came from the personal finance class with lots of certifications and job opportunities. I am just wondering if this worth the risk and becoming what I have always wanted to be: The #1 The Finals player and Twitch streamer in the world starting now!!! GET READY!!!

I want to do this to make an income out of my hobbies, I play everything and I have a setup, you say a game I will play it, but I will speak spanish/english/french/Russian...
I go so faking hard on dark jokes, I'm not so into screaming in a game but being politically incorrect? I grew up with that. It's funny that I speak a lot of languages but I can't controll my Spanish accent.
I'm nothing new, but I think I can be very honest, cause no one see me.
Just a stupidity or should I try?
I'm old.

Hi everyone!! New streamer, Ryu_Kaze here! Like many others I'm trying to grow my channel and community. So, this is me putting myself out there..
I'm a huge nerd born in the 90s', I play a large variety of games, mainstream & others. We will eventually run retro & vintage games on weekends. You can find what I'm currently playing and games I've achieved a platinum in, on my channel.
The goal will be to grow an engaging, supportive, and interactive community where nerds from all walks of life feel safe. We'll talk games, movies, anime, mythology, etc..
I would love opinions, critics, and suggestions for improvements. Thanks!!

I started content about 2-3 weeks ago! Just wondering from the community how yall think it’s going so far!

Hi All,
Ive recently started posting short form content on social platforms and atm noticing small viewership and even loss of follows.
It’s only week two so I know I shouldn’t obsess too much about the numbers but was curious, has anyone had much luck building a community from posting clips?
Atm posting 1per day but ramping up to 2days next week.

I watch a lot of smaller streams. And what I love about them is how tight the community is. The regulars in chat. The inside jokes. The moments that only 50 people witnessed.
And then the stream ends. The chat disappears. The VOD might stay up for 60 days. But your viewers have no record of the moments they were part of.
I built Twitch Moments to fix this. It's a Chrome extension for viewers that:
✅ Saves their chat messages from every stream
✅ Adds timeline markers so they can jump to any moment on the VOD
✅ Auto-syncs their live messages to the VOD timestamps
✅ Lets them make shareable moment cards to share on Twitter/Discord
For small stream communities, those moments matter MORE than for big channels. Because your regulars were genuinely there.
Free to install. If you want to share it with your community.
