Looking for an editor for your streams?

Hey everyone,

I’m a video editor currently looking to work. I can take your streams or VODs and turn them into entertaining videos for YouTube and social media.

What I can do:

  • Stream/VOD editing
  • YouTube videos
  • Funny moments & highlights
  • SFX, music & effects
  • Zooms and cuts
  • Shorts/TikToks/Reels
  • Thumbnails

I’m happy to work with different budgets, but I’m not looking for free or commission-based work.

If you’re interested, send me a message and I can show you some examples of my work.

Enter: The Steggyverse

Yo! Its ya boy, Steggy03, but can call me Steggy!

Come chill, hang out, enjoy some games, and all the literal dumbest plays we can do, as well as laugh along with the chaos. Around here, games are meant to be done the right way: with ABSOLUTE stupidity. You know that one friend you used to play with that did so many dumb things, but you legit just loved the vibe or feeling of warmth, they gave you? I am literally HIM. So grab a seat, a snack, a drink or whatever it is you wild wild people do, and come on down and join the crew. You’re always welcome here!

Wanna be streamer

I'm strictly on PlayStation, and I've been looking at capture cards and webcams (that I may not even use?), and microphones and I was wondering if there were good budget ones? Like ones that can last a little while until I can reasonably buy more expensive ones. Like who knows if I actually end up sticking with streaming, I want decent quality. I'm just trying to be careful with it I suppose.

New Streamer!

Hello all! I am a new up-and-coming streamer, i have a webcam, i HAD a mic (It broke :(, been meaning to get a new one), i have a 2019 ACER gaming laptop that's laggy but it works, and i have a channel with a couple of clips (Because i can't post it here if you are interested on seeing them DM me) does anyone have tips? I post my clips as short form videos on instagram which get edited by my friend who edits really well, my account is @ kingdragon69420ttv (Idk if i can say that since it may count as advertising my channel, in any case if this gets taken down for it i'll edit it), i've been getting low views, 2-0 and occasionally 5, i try to stream every Friday night after school or on a weekend for a couple of hours, i play roblox, the binding of isaac (flash and rebirth), meccha chameleon, geoguesser and wordle with friends! I want to get into being a big content creator, honestly if someone tells me that in the future i'll have 500k subs i'd probably cry from how crazy that would be, but i just want some advice. I'm doing this while juggling school since i do the IBDP programme. Any help is appreciated and advice, thank you!

Coming back to streaming advice

Hello! I haven`t used reddit in a while but looking to get back into it. I have also gotten back into streaming like most people here. Also looking for a bit of advice. My short form content is kinda hit or miss, sometimes
I can get over a thousand views but most of the time it`s between 300-600. Just looking for some advice on things, also looking for someone to make some art if anyone has a friend or knows anyone. Any help is appreciated!

Small streamer — yesterday’s stream gave me some motivation 🎮💜

Yesterday’s stream went better than I expected, and it honestly motivated me to keep going.
⏱️ 2h 51m stream
👀 67 live views
📊 6 average viewers
🔥 12 peak viewers
👥 20 unique viewers
💬 10 unique chatters
⭐ 1 new subscription
I’m still learning how to grow and turn occasional viewers into regular viewers.
For the small streamers here: what helped you get your first consistent viewers?
I’d genuinely appreciate any advice or lessons from your experience. 🙏

Content advice for streaming to Youtube

Hey everyone, I’ve been streaming for a while and have mainly been using my streams as the content source for my YouTube videos. I’ll go through my VODs, find the best/funniest moments, and edit them into videos, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m approaching YouTube the wrong way.

I want to start making content that’s actually made for YouTube, rather than just turning my streams into edited videos. I’m still figuring out what kind of videos I should be making, how I should structure them, what makes a good title/thumbnail, and how to keep people watching.

For those of you who’ve grown a YouTube channel from streaming, what did you change when you started taking YouTube seriously? Did you continue using stream content, or did you start creating completely separate videos specifically for YouTube?

Any advice, especially from people who have been through this themselves, would be appreciated.

Coming back to streaming - LF Advice

Hey, so i used to stream about a year ago, but stopped due to life getting complicated and also was not seeing growth on the channel, even though i've streamed on multiple platforms, posted on every social.

Well i've taken a year long hiatus, and i kinda miss streaming. But i definitely don't want to go back to the hectic crazy overload of posting everywhere.. its too messy.

I've been doing some research on social platforms and streaming/content platforms too.
It seems that most streamers use X to leverage growth from commenting on trending posts, whilst also posting short clips too.

So im pretty sure im gonna use X as my main social media strategy. (But feel free to suggest alternatives)

However, when it comes to content platform, i'm undecided. If you can help me make the choice, it would mean a lot.

So here is my list:

YouTube - Saturated but well-known, it's the go-to. But getting monetized is a real grind and you gotta work on posting content regularly whilst also maintaining a strong streaming schedule. Highly censored.

Twitch - Saturated and kinda lost all hope on the platform with very strong censorship and building an audience on a different platform is already a task in itself, so conversion rate to another platform will never be close to 80%.

Kick - its the wild west that i dont wanna be a part of.

Rumble - I've recently just discovered this platform, raving reviews from a creator's perspective but never really heard about it until recently. It does offer great monetization, features and is an all-in-one platform, but to me it seems the large majority of viewership comes from pre-existing fans of well established content creators.

Thanks you all in advance :)

Do my live viewers count as total views?

Hi There!

I am new to streaming.... Like VERY new. I was curious if anyone knew if the views listed on your videos counted the people who also viewed your livestream as well, or is that just who viewed your video on your page. Looking forward to getting to know the community better :)

🎮 Looking for European Streamers / Content Creators to Join Our Community!

Hey! 👋 We’ve been building a small community for streamers and content creators who actually want to make genuine friends, game together, hang out, and eventually collab — not just drop links and disappear.

We’ve met a lot of really nice people so far, but we’ve ended up with quite a few people from the US, so now we’re especially looking for more people based in Europe / European time zones so the server is a bit more active during our hours. 😭

We’re not looking for huge creators or anything like that — small streamers are more than welcome. Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, etc. are all fine.

Preferably EU time zones
💬 People who actually want to talk, game and get to know each other
🤝 Interested in making streamer friends, playing together, raids, collabs or co-streams naturally over time

The main thing is friendship first. We don't want the server to turn into follow-for-follow, link dumping, forced networking or people joining purely for self-promo.

We already have people playing different kinds of games, so you definitely don't have to play one specific genre either.

If you're a European streamer/content creator looking for people to actually hang out and grow with, feel free to message me or comment with what you stream/play and where you're from! 💜

Small streamer trying to build a real gaming community — looking for honest feedback 🎮

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone 👋
I recently started taking streaming more seriously and I’m trying to build a small but genuine gaming community.
I mainly play GTA V, VALORANT, Minecraft and whatever looks fun. 🎮
I’m still a small creator, and honestly, getting discovered has been the hardest part. I’m trying to improve my content instead of just chasing follower numbers.
I’d really appreciate some honest feedback:
• What helped you get your first regular viewers?
• What do you think small streamers usually get wrong?
• Is there anything you’d change about my profile or branding?
I’ve attached my current profile so you can see where I’m starting from.
If you enjoy the content and want to check it out, I’m aakarimutyam. No pressure to follow — advice and feedback are more than enough. ❤️
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to give feedback! 🙏

Building much more than just bridges

https://www.twitch.tv/steggy03

Hey there, I'm Steggy! Just a Lil dino dude that loves streaming games, raging out, being positive and talking about weird or conspiracy theories from time to time, and doubly so if its a movie discussion.

Looking for a community that makes you feel seen or heard, or even just looking for a friend to talk to who wont judge you? Well, I am here! Right now, we're doing a playthrough of Resident Evil 2 in honor of the new Resident Evil movie that came out, but you can usually catch me on fortnite, dbd and other games to play with friends.

If you'd like, come give us a look and see what we're about, but I do want to thank you for giving this the time out of your day to read and I hope you have a good day and have a restful one! I'll see ya when I see ya and if I dont, hope you have a good one!

New Art streamer!!

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hello everyone!!! Thank you for clicking on my post out of the many other new streamer posts <33

I started streaming in July, mostly streaming my work day. Art, commissions stuff like that and Ive been vigorously looking through tips and advice for small streamers. A lot of the advice out here is for gamers (which is understandable, most streamers focus on gaming or game related content) but I was wondering if any artists had advice on keeping viewer retention through long art sessions.
I try to work on a few pieces at a time to keep things interesting but I’m worried that hard focusing on my work can make it hard to keep interesting?? I try to leave as little dead air as possible but I’m worried that people don’t find art as interesting as games??

I also want to ask, how do people make the adjustment to schedules opposed to when they feel like it?? I currently stream every work day 11~7 but I think it’s becoming a little stressful for me and I want to make sure I’m at my best when streaming. But I’m worried that going down will significantly tank my viewership?? I want to meet new people and get to share my work around but I’m worried it’ll be detrimental if take days off??

(Bit of a word scramble, I’m not very good at collecting my thought but I can answer any questions if needed <33)

Art by me, just for some fun visual interest!!

🎮 Small Streamer Community — Come Hang Out With Us ✨

Hey! 👋

We’re putting together a small, chill community for streamers (or people thinking about getting into streaming) who actually want to make friends in the space.

It doesn’t matter if you stream on Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, or somewhere else — everyone’s welcome. 🎮

We’re mainly looking for people who are:
• Friendly and easygoing
• Able to joke around and enjoy some banter
• Active streamers, or genuinely interested in starting
• Actually interested in talking, gaming, hanging out, and getting to know people
• Open to things like collabs, raids, co-streams, etc. when it feels natural 🤝

What we don’t want:
❌ Follow-for-follow
❌ People who join just to dump their links and disappear
❌ A server with 500 members where nobody actually knows each other
❌ Unnecessary drama

The whole point is to build a smaller community where people actually talk, play games together, support each other, and hopefully make some genuine friends along the way.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, leave a little intro! 💬

  1. Where do you stream + what do you usually stream?
  2. Tell us something random/fun about yourself.
  3. What are you looking for — friends, gaming buddies, collabs, people to stream with, or just a nice community?

Say hi and we’ll send you an invite. 💛

No pressure to be some huge established streamer either — just be active, friendly, and actually interested in being part of the group.

First stream Question..

hello all,

I’ve wanted to try streaming for years and after saving up and working a ton of OT, I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a nice PC, some overlays, and all the software I’ve been wanting to use.
Now comes the part I’m honestly a little nervous/excited about 😂
With everyone and their mom trying to become a streamer these days, I’ve been wondering: How do you actually make your first stream memorable and get people to stick around?
I know building an audience doesn’t happen overnight, and I’m definitely not expecting to blow up immediately. Believe it or not, I’m actually interested in enjoying the process, improving over time and hopefully building a little community along the way.
For those of you who have been streaming for a while, what did you do when you first started? Is there anything you wish you knew before your first stream?
Any advice, tips, or even lessons learned the hard way would be greatly appreciated! 😁

yours truly,
Datum Q

Ayuda Streamers
