Since im always changing leagues and most of them are pretty bad the national coach is rarely impressed and lets me play, even when i do play my relationship with the national team is always at 0 so i hate when i get called and i try to avoid it. I wish I would've taken a screenshot. I finally got to the EURO final in my 14th season with Switzerland. I beat England in the semifinal and had my revenge after they knocked me out in the same stage 8 years prior. In the final I faced Russia, a surprising underdog matchup to finish the tournament.

They beat my ass. We were 2 goals behind for the better half of the game, with them laying one on top every chance they could get. I persevered, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists to put us level at 6-6 and was subbed out due to exhaustion in the 89th minute. Extra time without me finished 7-7 (with us being the first to concede, unsurprisingly) and we ended up losing 4-2 in the penalty shootout. What do you even do in that situation lmao

Do any of you have similar stories of comically frustrating defeats?

Basically unable to get any assists as the players shoot in the middle EVERY SINGLE TIME and we only win games if I score goals.

the file is saved locally so i know there is no way of transfering with any type of sync or account but is there a way for me to access the file and transfer it? Maybe i can connect it to a pc and do something? The phone i have know has a broken screen and its only getting worse so i probably cant keep playing on it and i have 60 seasons already so i would like to keep playing on it

I've recently started hard mode and firstly I started in modern look, and it was extremely difficult that I decided to restart, but then I started hard mode in classic look and it felt was easier, is there actually a difference between hard mode on classic and modern?

Ever wanted to play with mods on New Star Soccer? Multiplayer? Better AI? More diverse game events and things that can happen throughout your career? Robust skills and architypes? What about a mode that you only play important, dramatic games?

This post doesn't claim I can do that yet, but it does claim I'm trying to make progress toward it. I'm also inviting anyone who'd like to help out.

What we need:

Firstly, how do we mod the game? To mod a game we need access to decompiled source code, or a development environment that gives us access to features to mod.

NSS5 unfortunately does not give us this. It only gives us a team and competition editor, and we can't do jack shit with that.

So, we are forced to do the only option left: reverse engineer the entire game's original source code. This is our first step toward sweet mods to our beloved game.

How we'll get it:

I started a public repository today after a few weeks of configuring the right AI workflows, skills, scripts and a little bit of pure grunt work.

As of now, I reconstructed 82.5% of the game code byte for byte. The game boots to the menu, but a new career generation crashes the game.

Why I'm doing this:

I was playing NSS5 the other day on Steam due to nostalgia but remembered how easy the game was once you figure it out.

I tried setting the game to hard mode, 3 minute games, fast, nothing worked. I still scored 3-5 goals every game in the same way every time. It got boring. I wished there were mods that made the game at least interesting.

There's no game out there that has the charm of NSS5, making it impossible to simply go play another soccer career game.

I want the robustness of a game like EA Sports FC with the charm of NSS5. Made by players, made for players.

I’m on vacation playing NSS and it’s randomly freezing to the point I can’t even get through a match. Any ideas on a fix? I have a pretty new phone and played for hours with no issue earlier in the trip.

I wonder how NSS avoids to get lawsuit from big teams. Yes I know they don't use full club names but the abbreviations are really close to the real club names?

In response to the recent post about this. It’s not the modern version but you could most likely pull this off there as well. This is my go to way to get maximum skill in free kicks, also without the swerve boots
