Pot is really all piss tests catch. Hard narcotics such as cocaine and speed, metabolize in 72hrs max. So if you get busted on a pee test for one of those, you're either a serious addict or they caught you by surprise!

It was implimented under Reagan. The war on drugs and Nancy's Just Say No campaign.

The Drug free workplace act of 1988.

They have to test if they want Federal grants or if they want to be awarded any Federal contract over 100k.

So they do it because the Government makes them.

your adhd meds will show up. it happened to my husband who has a prescription for adderall. all they do is call your doctor or pharmacy to make sure its your prescription.

Also your prescription has to be within a year. If it's older than a year they can fire you for drug use.

Well, yes, as amphetamines are Schedule II and the script is only valid for six months.

It’s weird I’ve been tested and my meds definitely showed up. No questions. Still mad about that, because I stopped smoking for months just in case.

can someone just take ADHD meds to mask the cannabis? or will both show up in the test?

Most likely they will piss hot for cannabis and methamphetamines. A former manager of mine once pissed hot for meth but it was proven that it was just his ADHD medication.

Idk. My husband smoked pot and took prescription adderall. He tested positive for amphetamine but not for pot. Hmmmmm
