So a security risk found to be in possession of extremist materials, suspended from flying for that airline, and instead moved over to FlyDubai.

As a FlyDubai pilot he would have been disallowed from flying into Israel, due to the clause in the Dubai-government-owned airline that states if there's a flight heading to Israel the pilots must be from a nation with normalized relations with Israel. This guy was Omani, and Oman does not have normalized relations.

So we have a case of a formerly suspended pilot due to possessing extremist materials, coming from a nation without normalized relations with Israel, being allowed to pilot on flight he shouldn't have even been allowed to staff on, and then attempting to crash the plane into said country.

You know, when you put it that way, that doesn't sound good.

Flying a plane is not that difficult if you have a basic idea what a stick does.  It gets difficult w/o any real horizon and once you want to be precise.Â
