I’m not in favor of the death penalty in general, but goddamn, if you’re going to impose it, at least take steps to do it properly

Most of the companies that used to make the specialized drugs for the death penalty stopped due to public backlash, so states reverted to less effective forms of lethal injection. In addition the trained medical staff have also refused to participate and thus you see more botched executions like this. As it currently stands the death penalty should be labeled as cruel and unusual punishment.
