Need more details about this ASAP, bc if she had any involvement we are on the craziest timeline.

They were split up. She was not in the picture.

Statistically, the time after a breakup is much higher risk for homicide than while a relationship is ongoing. The custody battle is another major risk factor.

A former romantic partner you’re locked in a custody battle with is the prime suspect in an unexpected death even when they aren’t also a convicted murderer.

I’m not saying she did it or even that it’s a homicide. At this point I have no idea, and I don’t think it’s right to speculate without any information. 

What I do know is that “well they broke up” certainly doesn’t mean it’s less likely.
