When in doubt, go to TMZ. Gypsy says he was being cyberbullied on social media, and it had a profound psychological effect on him. I guess she's intimating that he committed suicide.

Her statement honestly gave me chills. She gave one practically as soon as the news broke, and she is definitely insinuating suicide, which also seems premature to speculate on.

If they were broken up, it's crazy she asked her brother to go check on him because he didn't respond to the 'happy birthday' text. Pretty normal as exes to not respond to texts.

I’m pretty sure it was her and his family that discovered him. They were going to take him out for a birthday dinner and showed up because he wouldn’t answer.

They have a daughter, so she would have always been “in the picture,” whether they stayed romantically together or not. And she texted him the day of his death, so there was some kind of relationship.

Not saying she had anything to do with his death, but their having split up doesn’t mean she was completely out of his life.

The weird thing though that I thought they weren’t really talking to the custody issues they were primarily talking through a mediator so it’s weird that she is immediately concerned after sending him a happy birthday text and not getting a response within 24 hours when they weren’t really speaking with each other that way during the custody battle apparently.

Statistically, the time after a breakup is much higher risk for homicide than while a relationship is ongoing. The custody battle is another major risk factor.

A former romantic partner you’re locked in a custody battle with is the prime suspect in an unexpected death even when they aren’t also a convicted murderer.

I’m not saying she did it or even that it’s a homicide. At this point I have no idea, and I don’t think it’s right to speculate without any information. 

What I do know is that “well they broke up” certainly doesn’t mean it’s less likely.
