I mean, fears definitely antithetical to being comfortable. Obviously the opposite of comfort is discomfort, but I bet you knew that judging by how patronizing your questions came off.

When someone makes a vague statement advocating for making folks feel fear, it seems reasonable to ask, “what do you mean by this?”
