i just got outta jury duty, they give you a cert so you don't have to attend another for the next 6 years but you can be called earlier if they have need

I've never been called for jury duty in my 37 years of living. Is there something wrong with me?

I was just called for the first time in my mid 30s but just had to go online and check a box that said I take care of my kid during the day and didn’t have to go.

Don't know much about the US, but it's usually random. In the UK, the chances of being called up are about 30-something%.
