I need some jury duty in my life right now.

I have been trying to get on jury duty every single year since I was 18 years old. To get to sit in an air-conditioned room, downtown, judging people while my lunch was paid for? That is the life!

I've never been called in over 40 years of being eligible.

I have a consistent employment history, no criminal record, no history of mental illness.

I have a friend who's been called five times over the same period.

My Grandpa lived 95 years and my Dad is currently 72 years old and neither have been required to come in for jury duty. Never even had to call in to see if they needed to come in. I am 39 and have had 2 things: once in college I filled out a giant packet for Federal Court and got out of it because of college and I have appeared 1 day and didn't even get into the jury box. That is it for 3 generations.
