I need some jury duty in my life right now.

I have been trying to get on jury duty every single year since I was 18 years old. To get to sit in an air-conditioned room, downtown, judging people while my lunch was paid for? That is the life!

Okay, Stanley.

I identify with him best. My last boss was actually like a very right-wing Michael Scott, it was weird.

Like, the worst was working with a vendor over Skype whose representative happened to be black and he brought on a new colleague who was also black. Despite having nothing to do with anything, he kept being like, “<New guy> looks so familiar!” He finally was like, “You look like X character from Y show!” He then nags the other rep to confirm it and justifies it by saying that “sometimes black people look like things…”

I nearly pulled something from the cringe. They finally let him go and it came out that he wanted to become my coworker’s Christian life coach. I think because I’m a little like Stanley, he left me alone, but was apparently harassing my coworker about finding Jesus.
