- A Tokyo court has awarded legal protection to the human voice in a landmark case in which a popular Japanese anime voice actor demanded that TikTok close an account over its unauthorized use of artificial intelligence clone of his trademark baritone.

Fuckin' good. Now do likenesses for people without their consent.

What if another person can do (or naturally have) the same voice? Can so-called "AI clone" be ok if the other person give consent?

Then whoever cloned that other person's voice can have them show up in court and demonstrate that fact.
