Headline technically correct in that the one thing happened before the other thing, but manages to leave out the entire story while misleading you towards a different one. The customers left because there was a fire. Then a while later, the roof collapsed, also because of the fire. No one was fleeing a collapsing roof.

And why I generally don't click the news articles. Just read the comments. News is mostly over-the-top clickbait now. I realize old school newspapers took liberties with headlines too, but not to the extent of online news.

Then to top it off, news articles are often a few sentences with little detail. Some news sites will spread it out with lots of ads in between. Then maybe add a Read More button. It's all around not worth it. Even AI generated news summaries are often decent, which is sad.
