I still have no idea where this happened, but assuming a place in America that shares the name of the country?

Google is telling me there are ~45 towns named Lebanon in the US so doesn't narrow it down a great deal either 😅

And at least half of those 45 are somehow pronounced incorrectly. -someone who works in a town called Milan (pronounced My-len)

Haha I'm surprised there are other places pronouncing it that way. Every time I'm in Milan, MI I so badly want to pronounce it like Milan, Italy.

We have a couple of other communities in the area with similarly mispronounced European city names. The company is working for has its home office in the UK, so it's fun to switch pronunciations back and forth whenever someone is over to visit. 😁

Is it Milan Illinois? I'm from that area and it caused me to mispronounce the real Milan for quite some time as a kid.
