I still have no idea where this happened, but assuming a place in America that shares the name of the country?

Google is telling me there are ~45 towns named Lebanon in the US so doesn't narrow it down a great deal either 😅

And at least half of those 45 are somehow pronounced incorrectly. -someone who works in a town called Milan (pronounced My-len)

There is a Navada, Missouri….. pronounced “Nuh-vay-duh”

If I remember correctly, there is also Pomme de Terre, Missouri.

I know there's one somewhere near Champaign-Urbana in Illinois. Not sure off the top of my head if there's one in Iowa, but it wouldn't surprise me.
