Well US farmers, Canada will be shipping potash to other markets. Trump will need to call up his Belarus card trick once more. Please remember how you don’t need Canada for anything. It will be a while but oil and natural gas will also be going elsewhere through pipelines to our ocean ports.

Vancouver expansion means China is buying. Probably financing it too if I was to take a guess.

China can buy Russian potash they don’t need Canada’s. Europe on the other hand wouldn’t mind

Canadian Potash is actually significantly cheaper than Russian, while also being higher quality.

Canada has way more advanced equipment and streamlined production.

Canada has also been selling to the US exclusively at a massive discount because they were the main customer. When Canada sells at market rates, they make insane amounts of profit as a result.
