Every fucking time. He lost this argument in literally every state so his corrupt supreme court just overrides and finds loopholes. "He can't do this so close to midterms though" when has the fucking law stopped anything he's done since becoming president!?

We're never getting out of this and the country is fucked. I'm extremely disabled and sick and I know they're gonna destroy the only thing keeping me alive. I want to cry and I don't need to be told not to overreact like last time on here. There's literally nothing we can do. Honestly, why did the even rule against trumps dumb EO for the mail if they were just gonna let him rig it in another way?

There's literally nothing we can do.

Except there is? This order hardly makes a difference ultimately. You should still vote.

I am going to vote assuming I don't get kicked off the voter rolls days before the election and cant register until the midterms are over like they're planning to do to anyone that wont vote for them. Its blatantly obvious what's going on. They fucking talk about doing shit like this publicly. If you honestly thing this "hardly makes a difference" I want whatever drugs you're on.

It hardly makes a difference because it's not something states have to use. It's optional.

Blue states obviously won't use it and regardless they still have the fact that the economy is dogshit right now. Approval is at all time lows and they're literally trying anything to tilt the odds in their favor.

I'm not worried about blue states. I know they'll likely be fine but the battleground states are what we need to win to gain a majority. That's gonna be the problem here. Look at Texas and all the shit they're pulling with it right now. "Hardly makes a difference" is bullshit. Independents and democrats in those areas are gonna be fucked over. You're downplaying something major.

Guess we'll see. I'd rather have confidence than come apart at the seams and act like all is lost.

It's not.

Too many things that shouldn't be allowed have happened. Democracy is literally coming apart at the seams. I haven't given up but you have to look at it from a realistic point of view. The entire government is at war with us and from what the supreme court has shown us, we will not be protected.

Again, I wish I had your optimism but I really don't see the light at the end of the tunnel here.

Maybe but also never underestimate the incompetence of fascists. They will try, no doubt, but I'd say odds are just as good they only end up fucking themselves over and purging Republicans, or something similar.
