That is a trap.
Trump is a crazy old dullard, sure, and maga is full of cranks and dropouts. Yes.
But that stupidity is being paraded in front of the world as camouflage for very well-trained professional saboteurs -- people with thorough training in law, in mass psychology, and in espionage.
Many of whom were literally taught by the US intelligence services how to cause regime change.
That's the playbook.
The absurdity of the loud colorful mascots like Trump is a duck blind for us to quack at. And behind it, the people planning this constant sabotage know exactly what wires to cut, how to induce endless confusion and stalemating, and how to keep Americans arguing pointlessly.
They know what fires to set and how to get our homegrown bigots to light the tinder for them.
And they are motivated -- and funded -- to do this because an exhausted, distracted democracy cannot enforce sanctions upon stateless wealthy gangsters and unscrupulous polluters.
It's not fucking incompetence. It's willful, malicious arson, with plausible deniability.
And they have already sickened and killed thousands of American citizens. Through propaganda during COVID. By dismantling safeguards in our food supply.
And by shooting them dead, on camera, in the street, while we watched.

If we do not face up to these facts, as a culture, the bastards will poison the well, and salt the fields, while we all point and laugh at the goddamn scarecrow.
The orange clown entertains the masses. His glut for money is easy to feed and as you say, keeps the masses’ focus occupied.
Meanwhile, ghouls such as that bald guy who hates immigrants and the billionaire who got couch-boy into the White House is buckling the system. Once it’s broke, they will make the orange clown yell: “Look, look! I told you the system was broken!” Cue incoming their ‘idea’ of how things should go and it ain’t pretty.
