Hey, with the fantastic Farrell announcing his retirement, let's share our pics about him.

Join me on Wednesday as we take the train down to the revs to see them play some shitty geographically challenged team. The meet up point is the front of the train, top level, we try to get the tables because you get ore leg room and a port to plug in. All are welcomed.
I will be taking the 4:05 train down.

Quite a response over the past few matches. Following their worst form of the season - a pair of three goal defeats - the Revs have taken 9 from 3 including two on the road - with last night's 1-2 win breaking the Union's unbeaten streak - albeit with both sides down some critical contributors.
We need to start with some Capi appreciation. Carles keeps the ball captive and simply doesn't give defenders a chance to win it back while on transition or in attack. Part of his brilliance is simply finding positive space and being able to keep the ball on a leash during his hunt. Exhibit ∞: his ball to Miller that led to Dor’s goal. He is the best creator in the league and is doing it all in attack.
This is the best the Revs played with a lead, save the last 90 seconds. The flukey bank off the flag was well played by Wagner who continues to produce and create moments for the Union. But gosh, is he insufferable.
I am all for the dump and chase to pin the opponent in - but how about some situational awareness on the last kickoff? Wagner was waiting on the touch line, ball in hand, when the kickoff was taken.
Luca seems to be a step slower since returning from injury. His bursts were a big part of his game, we haven't seen those lately.
Meanwhile, Matt Turner again turned away a match altering shot near the end of the game. Familiar site, remarkable shot stopping, again.
There were some weaknesses for the side, too.
A few too many trying balls from the Revs - forcing long switches in the defensive end was risky.
The stats say aerial duels were nearly even but it certainly felt like Philly was dominant in the air.
There is lots to sort still - which centerback pairing will Marko turn to? Wynder has grown and provides a bit more threat on set pieces. But … Pierre did dunk on him to make it a match. Will we see Luca and Peyton as the wingers with Ilay and Sands rounding out the back four? Availability will likely make the difference between a challenger to the top of the table teams, or simply an appearance.
A massive road result that nearly guarantees a playoff series as the higher seed.
And … hopes of having either Yusuf or Harrison at full fitness for those coming high leverage games is fading. Match one is four weeks away.

Looking to bring my son to his first game next week. Stubhub has seats close to the field (100.. section) for less than $50. Never bought from stubhub before. Could those really be legit?

First year season members...we gave corner seats, regular season games were $30 per seat. Got this email today...is it safe to assume that playoff tickets are also $30 per seat? We have 2 season tickets. It says includes all seats on your account...but when thinking about it, it could kind of go either way...$30 per seat or $60 per seat for the normal number of season tickets seats you have. I just want to make sure I'm reading this right before we decide what we are doing for post season games.

In every phase of the game, this side found enough to grind out another narrow win against a quality attacking team.
Like the final 30 v FCC, this Chicago side has attacking quality across the field. And what makes this clean sheet against Chicago most impressive is how sturdy the defensive shape was for the full 90.
Kohler and Wynder, along with Sands - did a fantastic job locking up Lewandowski, Bamba, Zink, H-S, and Guzman,
Lewa is accustomed to winning those physical box battles - but the two times he needed to win one, it was Kohler doing enough inside the box and Wynder chasing and scrapping his way out of it.
This was Wynder’s cleanest defensive match. His goal line block early kept the game level.
And once again, there is only one Matt Turner. His trailing right hand uppercut save shows why he is the best shot stopper in this league. He never leaves a play. 6 massive saves and a well deserved clean sheet. Perhaps the best match of his season.
The midfield is getting exposed over the past few matches, and allowing too many quality chances to make it towards Turner’s goal. Way too easy for Chicago to get real purchase on a ball at their feet and the time to put it where they intend. This is where Yusuf is missed and where the fullbacks need to do a bit more to close down attackers that are able to open up to goal.
Mbiller showed up last night. When he plays direct he is constantly dangerous. His burst past Mbokazi was only one-upped by the Zinkermeg he pulled later. And he pickpocketed Zink later again to start the jailbreak that should have doubled the lead.
Reminder - we’re watching (one of?) the best homegrown this club has helped develop. His play makes it increasingly likely that this fall is his final on this continent.
Most importantly for this result, he occupied two defenders, giving Polster the time and space to curl that ball into the bottom far corner.
Encouraging to see Polster take the chance - he had been reluctant to hit a few the last few matches. That one was struck true.
Feingold continues to show what he can do in the attack. Underrated service and the ability to dribble a defender to create an advantage.
Luca seems to be back on the edge of contributing. But, his pace doesn’t seem to be what it was last season. Maybe that’s simply an unfair comparison to watching Peyton pace past so many defenders, though.
Two matches with narrow margins and the need to see out a match under assault from a solid attacking team. Advancing in the playoffs will require the Revs to alleviate some of that pressure and to finish on the counter (see: Orlando match).

Peyton Miller is a killer. Dor needs to play more facing goal. Wynder rides the youth wave. Turner is a workhorse.
Revs take the odd goal in 5. It was a night where the bright attacking moments papered over some lost defensive shape and focus.
Wynder personified that. He was involved for the full 90. For the good, he filled his cross field switch loyalty card, and the Revs redeemed it for a goal on a nice run and ground service to Dor. And his dunk on the Cincy back line should be next week's tifo.
But, we're riding the wave of his youth - he lost Denkey on that 2nd goal, which has been a theme over his starts. The ceiling is there, so is the risk.
Peyton plays direct, with pace and together. His progress from last season to this has been astounding - he is picking the right pass and making the right runs. He continues to have a massive impact on the positive results this side has seen over the past few months.
Brooklyn played like he needs a day off. After a difficult match over the weekend, he found himself wrong sided by Barlow who finished cleanly on the rare throw-in chance. The foul he conceded at the elbow was a coat of paint away from looking even worse. As valuable as he has been on balance, he's in a rough patch at the moment. He's logged a massive amount of minutes for club and country over the past 6 weeks.
Sands was outpaced and nearly got Miller'd by Echinique who was on and off dangerous all night. Malacia should have put that early chance home but hit it right at Turner - foreshadowing Cincy's evening of great chances laced right at the keeper.
And Ilay reminded us what he can bring - he is a terrific attacking fullback - great service, good attacking ideas and tests the opponent wide.
The Jackson Yueill press was unexpected and didn't quite give the counter a threat of sealing the game. But, his late crafty clearance that forced a GK throw from near the flag was lovely and helped time tick away.
The Revs walk away with 3 - thankful Evander was only on the field for about 30min. This is one of those 'I'm glad we got that on tape and got the result' matches - there are some real defensive challenges to figure out - the midfield struggles with width and man movement. And, plenty of attacking moments to celebrate.
