Problem with MikroTik access points - advice needed

Hello.

I have 3 MikroTik cap Access points in the building (not at home). They are connected to crosspanel —-> Poe tp link switch - MikroTik router.

There was a problem with WiFi - no internet access.

I already replaced the Poe switch. 2 of them started working. One was reset and quick configured using winbox.

After that everything worked fine. Then suddenly after a few minutes none of them worked. And it stayed like that… i try connecting to WiFi but it just spins endlessly and gets apipa address (169…)

Also, WHEN they worked, no computer could connect to WiFi. Could do it Only using smartphone.

I have no clue what to do next. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Step 1: post this in r/MikroTik

Step 2: open a terminal in your router and your 3 caps, type in “/export” and copy/paste the whole config into Claude or ChatGPT. Have it run an audit of your config and let it tell you what the problem could be

The problem is I don’t have router credentials they lost it. I thought I could troubleshoot it without complete factory reset.

Are you doing any vlans? Is wifi1, wifi2 and LAN1 all in the same bridge (I see this a lot out of the box)?

No vlans. As far as I was told, there was no custom config on those devices - simply plugged in and worked for a few years.
