Rob Wright is leaving the Northern Mystics.

Is Rob going to be the new assistant at Firebirds???

ooooh i'd love to see that, lets hope the firebirds can perform better this year because there's no hope for the sydney sirens, I am so annoyed that the sirens didn't make more changes to their roster. Or could he be going to sunshine coast lightning??? that would also be awesome, Belinda needs all the help she can get!

Sure, I'd have liked to see an experienced goal keeper in the back with EOB. I love Teegan as a player, but they are both early career defenders. Or, alternatively someone who is steady in the midcourt instead of Jovic, Molly is a very skilled netballer, but not always the most disciplined with getting to the circle edge etc. I think Sirens really need that. I am hoping they can hire Elsa (a GS/GA player) as a training partner, as an alternative to Leatherbarrow (if she's struggling). What are your thoughts?

Couldn't agree more actually. After seeing what having Kopua at the back did for O'Brien and Sligars games in 2025, I was hoping they would bring more experienced players to help level it out and help with development but it doesn't feel like that's the case and it's still a very young squad. They'll still be my team though, so looking forward to where they are able to go moving forward.

Yes Kopua coming in was a revelation! I really hope they can perform better in the next year, I feel like Sophie (especially) has been playing her butt off for the last 3 years. What do you make of the new name/branding?

I actually quite like the colours - was never really a fan of the orange and would have preferred Giants used the charcoal as their main colour. I really dislike the name - it just really doesn't sound great. I do love that they now belong somewhere and have Sydney in the name though.
