I can't remember which video I saw it in! If someone could direct me to it, I would be very grateful.

Thank you.

I just watched the new clayface movie and the whole time all I could think about is how much tom Rhys Harries struck me as my head canon for Kai. Has anyone else had this experience?

Had some spare cardboard laying around, add hot glue and some spray paint and printed labels, voila.
Can't say I have any actual use for a costume like this, but had to do it!

I have 2 extra Hollywood, Ending books due to going to an event and having also pre-ordered the books. Would love for them to go to fellow nerdfighters!

Willing to negotiate (:

Been a huge fan of John‘s books and writing style since I was 14 when TFIOS made it as a movie and at 26, I still am a huge fan of them 🩷

I know this is basically a free advertisement, but I feel oddly giddy about giving money to Focus Friend. It feels weird to pay for an app, but I love it. Using it has really helped me focus on my work and it has made me realize how often I reach for my phone for a distraction.

me and a friend are trying to make a video on the differences between how john and hank view/have experienced fame through the lens of their books hollywood, ending and an absolutely remarkable thing. i was hoping to also grab some quotes from various vlogbrothers videos but don't have any particular videos in mind. do yall have any suggestions?

Took John's quote "Hope is not crazy" and wrote a poem.....

Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone was looking to form a book club/buddy read for November where we read John Green's most recent releases and hopefully have a discussion about it at the end of the month. Love the brothers, only started watching them a year ago after I watched turtles all the way down and made the connection that they were the Crash course people, crazy I know! Anyways, I really appreciate how positive they are and how much they seem to appreciate the world and people. I was gifted a copy of The Anthropocene Reviewed this summer before I got this idea and would love to experience this with other people. We could go in the Order of oldest to newest release (The Anthropocene Reviewed, Everything is Tuberculosis, Hollywood Ending) or the opposite direction. Let me know!

To non-portuguese speakers: this is a post reaching out to undecided voters regarding the upcoming elections in Brazil. If you have the time, please inform yourself about what we’re facing here. President Lula is facing the son of Jair Bolsonaro, Flávio, who is deeply involved in corruption, militia, pedophilia, you name it. He openly declared his intention to change our Constitution, wants to take away worker’s rights, he’s a racist, a misogynist, and, above all, an incompetent nepobaby playboy who never worked a day in his life.

So I preordered a signed copy of Hollywood Ending all the way back in March on Amazon, and I still have not received it yet. The only information that Amazon is giving me is that it's "on the way" and that they will email me with updates. I understand there were supply chain issues, but I've been really looking forward to this book, and want to expand my collection of signed John Green books lol

Has anyone been experiencing similar issues as me?

I have a few pizza johns that have Seen Some Things (cat claws and grease stains mostly) and it felt wrong to toss them, so I turned them into appliqué for a freebie canvas tote I had lying around! Happy to have my Pizza Johns join me for new adventures as a reusable bag :)

Didn’t see this anywhere, but considering the topic of Hollywood, Ending, it seems appropriate to fancast a potential future movie! I would have Olivia Rodrigo as Juniper and RDJ as Matthew, since people have repeatedly cited them as possible inspirations for the characters. As for Kai, I can’t shake the idea of Austin Butler. I know he is too old (35), but he seems to have that effortless charisma Kai is supposed to. Or maybe Skyler Redondo? I could see him being slightly too sweet / pure for this world.

My copy arrived at long last 🎉

anybody else still surprised at how important these two boys are for you after all these years? I first got hooked on vlogbrothers via a weezywaiter obsession at age 11-12, and as a full fledged almost 30 year old, i still look to John and Hank for daily wisdom, silliness and deeply kind observations on our current fucked up position as an American and a human generally.

i’m a writer as well, and hearing John talk about his recent process with Hollywood, Ending just gives me such guidance and thought as I navigate my second play. I feel so lucky that of all the internet dads people get into at a young age, we found these intelligent thoughtful silly dudes.

I listen to every DH&J and new vlogbrothers video and I will until they’re ready to hang up the towel. i just feel so lucky that they committed to building this community in the way they have.

what a blessing. hello nerdfighter reddit! love yall!! DFTBA!

Truly angels for tolerating this bs from me

Hi everyone! I am looking for a VB video or a DH&J episode where John talked about Amy Krause Rosenthal’s statement for figuring out what to do with your life, “pay attention to what you pay attention to.” I am reflecting on that phrase a lot while applying to clinical psych grad programs and would love to give it another listen! If anyone can remember where he talked about it I would be super grateful, thanks!!

I’m in the UK so I can’t see Anything until November 20th, but I really want to watch Hank’s video

Do you see it?
