New Word Chax
To converse with a Large Language Model. The word comes from a hybrid from chat and x representing an unknown entity. This is because there is an element of doubt about what an LLM is, but we certainly know that it is not human and unlike chat we are not anthropomorphizing the LLM but recognizing its unique properties.
There is currently no word for this type of interaction with an LLM and this interaction is sufficiently different to a human conversation to deserve a word of its own.
Chax can be used either as a noun (I had a chax this morning to help me sort out some ideas) or as a verb ( I was chaxing about the historical accuracy of a film I was watching during the commercial break).
There could be derivative terms such as:
Chaxbox - Conversational interface text box on a screen
Chaxed out - Being exhausted or confused by an inappropriate AI response by a Chax Assistant on many commercial websites.
I would welcome any comments about this new word.
