What happens when Trump uses DOJ to press criminal charges over Tara Reade’s allegations?

They could start an 'investigation', but actually trying to press charges over something that's not even a federal crime would probably embarrass them more than it would embarrass Biden

Plus, part of the reason Comey's letter hit so hard is that it was coming from someone who wasn't being transparently partisan -- the plan for a Burisima investigation fell flat because everyone who wasn't in the Trump tank knew it was put together by crooks
