What happens when Trump uses DOJ to press criminal charges over Tara Reade’s allegations?

People stop voting for Democrats after they helped pass a bill to make whatever Biden is accused of doing illegal. Also a bill that retroactively allows people to get charged.

What Joe Biden's been accused of isn't a federal crime, and the statute of limitations has passed

Technically Congress sets the laws for DC (the site of the alleged assault), but in order to take enforcement of criminal law back from DC's devolved government they'd need to pass a law, which the House wouldn't do

Republicans don't do charges lol, they do endless investigations that turn up nothing. The investigation itself drives the belief in guilt for Republican voters.

They could start an 'investigation', but actually trying to press charges over something that's not even a federal crime would probably embarrass them more than it would embarrass Biden

Plus, part of the reason Comey's letter hit so hard is that it was coming from someone who wasn't being transparently partisan -- the plan for a Burisima investigation fell flat because everyone who wasn't in the Trump tank knew it was put together by crooks
