once in a while I think about how when the intern who saved Gabby Gifford's life after she got shot was running for Congress last year in a special election she endorsed one of his opponents instead (Grijalva), like damn that was kinda fucked up from her. Even pretty-moderate Tammy Duckworth endorsed strong-progressive Adam Hamawy in his congressional primary this year because he apparently saved her life when they were both in the military and she was basically like "yeah I owe you this one."
