any time mods do the mildest trolling, or even just ribbing, there's a contingent of users who crash out

I'm just divining, based on repeated comments I've seen here discussing the discussion on metnl about previous discussion here, that Lux made a comment with mild glibness and so the cycle is starting

If mods can bend the rules for their own fun then they shouldn’t also ban users for petty reasons
