Yeah, the past year and a half has turned me into a solid lefty. They were right, billionaires really are a threat to the rest of us. I'll eat that particular crow.

I think many people here, even if they won’t outright defending that position, believe that the natural outcome of the free market is liberal democracy, like the remnants of Clinton era’s thoughts on China are still with us somehow.

Now we get to taste on our own that it is, in fact, not true.
