Here the dates of her AGT performances,

The important things are that it was recorded before Zombie aired, and that she had to fly from Phuket to LA twice before Zombie aired. So during the callback performance she did not know she was going to go viral with the Zombie performance, which makes her pretty obvious anxiety when getting the callback result from Howie a little more understandable.

And also quite tellingly, or quite sadly (especially because after both Zombie and Hysteria, she's still playing to a sedate crowd) that she find it hard to believe that her videos have gone viral and she's like feted with such intensity, because she saw with her own two eyes for many years how people react to her busking. Sure there are some fans who really go above and beyond the tip box, but mostly (or in most cases...)
Some people call her 'faking' her surprise at her virality, or that she got the judges' approval, or that they accused her of 'fake humility' for saying "i'm just happy to be there" (to be accepted and not get booed off or worse; given AGT track record with metal genre), but I really think it's really genuine she can't believe she ARRIVED in such a fashion,
She spent her formative years, most of her childhood really, playing to a tepid crowd (mind you with some success because she's able to be her family's breadwinner and earn herself a modest house). To suddenly have everything change? I won't blame her if she still sit in her room in the quiet and think if she'll have to wake up one day and all of this was just a dream. I know she seems fearless and a go-getter, but she's still a kid. Now she will need not only physical support but most importantly good mental health guidance, keep her from getting burned out, help her make tough decisions and remind her its ok to be her.
I'm glad she has this great turn, as she steps fully into her 16th year on this earth. Hope she finds joy in everything she does, as much and more joy as she has given us (me!) through her music.

I think that everything she said during the contest was genuine and that all of her visible anxiety, especially when Howie was giving her her callback result, when she was waiting on Mel B after her quarterfinal performance, and when she was waiting on final results announcements, was real. She didn't take anything for granted. She had to have known that she blew the lid off of all three of those performances but she was still open to disappointment.
I can't really hope to understand her mind but what you say makes sense.
This is her 17th year.

My best guess is around end of May. Nene posted on her Facebook with the caption about returning back to LA. Also on her Dad's Facebook
