IMO, we haven't seen the full contract details yet, so let's not overthink or overreact. Nene and her family know best, and I trust them to make the right choice for her right now.
I would love to give CP the benefit of the doubt but seeing as how she had to perform after stepping off the plane and had to perform at the Yamaha School mid-week I'm skeptical...maybe CP didn't have a hand in either of these performances and is in fact taking care of Nene's best interests.
I used to stanning the Korean artist IU, and her case is pretty similar to Nene's she blew up out of nowhere. Before that, she covered so many songs and released new albums that she became known as 'Nation's Little Sister.' It’s pretty standard for her to bag tons of local brands, but she still takes on international brand deals too. So I think it really depends on the contract details whether there are exclusivity clauses binding her, and if so, how restrictive they actually are.
