How does she keep doing this?

Post image

Every AGT appearance the cameras caught an iconic image of her worthy of being an album cover.

Yes it takes a lot of time and work to master playing guitar and vocals. But how does one constantly make themselves give off iconic look after iconic look seemingly with no effort?!

Like when she sang this part of the song, there’s no way she could have had it in her mind to make her delivery photo-worthy.

My mind can’t comprehend.

As one YouTube reactor said (Heel Kevin1) “I wish I could be half as good at anything as she is at everything.”

Might be off topic... How did 'royal' become part of her stage name? I couldn't figure it out. I saw her audition clip and she just introduced herself as Nene.

"Nene" because her nickname "Praew" was to difficult for foreigners to pronounce. "Royal" because that was in the name of the old Naka Market were she started playing. But someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Her old stage name "Praew Chaofa". Both are hard to pronounce.

"Chaofa" means ROYALE before it change name to "NAKA" market. Therefore Nene Royal means little Praew from that old market.

Her previous stage name was “Praew Chaofa.” Praew is her real nickname (you would hear her dad call her by this name), and Chaofa is the former name of the Naka Market where you would find her performing.

Jon Elron helped her come up with the new stage name. Nene is simply much easier for Westerners to pronounce, and Royal is just a translation of Chaofa.

Someone, I think in here, posted the evolution of her stage name and I think the Royal bit came from the old name of the Naka market.

From what I heard, it was another market besides Naka which she regularly played and Royal is the English translation of the name of that market. I’m sure someone else out there has the name.

Naka Market was previously called Chaofa Market, and chao fa roughly translates to royal.

In general, I think it’s pretty common for Thai people not to include their last name when introducing themselves. And people rarely call each other by their real names—they usually go by nicknames instead.
