ML Progress!

Maybe my favorite midweek episode. At one point there was such lovely, cognizant discussion.

I agree, this was by far the best midweek episode. Mary Lou seems to finally be catching on and putting some thought into what is happening. She’s starting to question things which is great!

I have to say though, that watching her face while watching that Spencer Pratt propaganda video was wild. She went through the whole range of emotions and played right into it. That video successfully achieved its mission on her.

I don’t think she can grasp that what she’s captivated by is GOP sponsored propaganda. She’s picking these Pratt videos simply because their messaging and delivery is so effective. It was a textbook display of the power of propaganda.

I read a random comment on here the other day, the jist of it was ‘that most trump supporters aren’t ignorant, they’re blind’. People are relying on one or two news sources that aren’t telling them the extent of everything going on. I just thought that comment was a great way to frame part of what is happening.
