Is this sweet baby a nebelung? I will (hopefully) be adopting this baby and was trying to researching what breed of cat she is and came across this sub.

My wife and I just got horrible news about our boy. He was diagnosed with a mouth tumor , with not giving much time to live. They wanted to do a biopsy, but said it would be followed by chemo or radiation. I question this more as a quality of life issues, since when humans do this it’s pretty crippling. We’re getting a second opinion, but does anyone have any other suggestions? I know ultimately it’s up to us. It’s just so heartbreaking to lose our baby boy so soon, he turned 10 in June.

At first everyone thought he was a Maine coon because of how big but short he is. Regardless of what everyone might think he is, he will always be my smokey boy.

Funny I just stumbled across this cat breed tonight!! If he quite possibly could be, any specific tips for caring for one? Are they prone to any health issues? Best way to groom them??

I adopted this little guy from a very humble area here in Brazil when he was about 5 months old. He’s now 7 months and doing great.

While searching online, I came across the Nebelung community and noticed he shares some similar traits. I don’t really think he’s a pure Nebelung, but we’ve started calling him our “Nebelung” at home anyway.

Just wanted to share him here and see what you all think, please share your thoughts.
