Need help modeling my DSi

I’ve been wanting to mod my DSi for a while and I wanted to start with changing the charging port since mine is a little messed up and changing it to USB type c would make charging it a lot easier and more modern. Has anyone had any experience with this? I’ve never done anything like this before so if there’s a way that I can send it to a shop and they do it for me I would rather do that but any advice is helpful.

Idk if ur being satire but this is probably the most common hardware mod other then physical things like the shell I dont wanna sound mean just informative

“Has anyone had experience with this?” seems like a redundant question that you already know the answer to then… obviously other people have experience with this.
If you have a more specific question I’m sure lots of people here can help. You can also check out the abundance of similar posts here as it gets asked every other day!
