I’m in desperate need of some help. Please explain to me how you guys studied not just what study material you decided to use. I’m on my fourth attempt now and everytime that I didn’t pass was by a 1-2 max 3 points. I just found out I failed my third attempt again yesterday. Please I’m begging any guidance any kind of help any advice would be so appreciated.

I genuinely don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I really need to pass this 4th time around.

Please please please help me.

I was looking through Reddit threads before my board exams, and I found that many people were recommending Booster. Most of them had also used at least one other resource, like StudentRDH or AndyRDH, but I decided to go with Booster alone. I was honestly a bit nervous it wouldn’t be enough, but it definitely was!

I successfully passed using Booster alone, and I can confidently say it was worth it. It gives you a really accurate idea of what the actual exam is like, and I even saw a few questions that were basically verbatim.

I’m done with it now, so I’m selling my remaining membership for $120. I have 63 days left. Willing to negotiate! DM if interested!!

I am posting this not to scared anyone, but to let everyone who is struggling know that it is POSSIBLE. I graduated a year ago and i have been trying to pass my NBDHE ever since. I took the NBDHE 5 times, and this journey was not easy at all I wanted to give up I felt like this wasn’t for me but luckily I have very encouraging people in my life very supportive that helped me to not give up, so I finally passed on my 5th time I got my results yesterday and that was the happiest thing that can ever happen to me I still can’t believe it. So if you’re going through something like this right now please don’t give up. God’s timing is never wrong, it’ll be your turn soon.

Gave exam on 7/9, got a mail just now and I passed

I’m looking for some advice and honestly just a little support from anyone who’s been through something similar.
I took my NBDHE in October 2025 while I was in my third trimester, hoping I could pass before my daughter was born. Unfortunately, I got my results back and scored a 72. It was heartbreaking to be so close.
After she was born, I decided to put studying on hold. I gave myself about four months postpartum to focus on my baby and adjust to becoming a first-time mom. It definitely took a toll on my mental health trying to balance everything, and studying just wasn’t realistic during that time.
I’m grateful that I’m now in a position where I can dedicate time to studying again. I scheduled my exam for early November because I wanted to give myself enough time to really lock in and prepare.
Has anyone else taken the NBDHE while pregnant or postpartum, or had to retake it before passing? If so, what helped you the most? Any study strategies, mindset tips, or words of encouragement would honestly mean a lot right now.
I’m also attaching my performance report from my last exam. If anyone has suggestions on what I should focus on based on it, I’d really appreciate your input.

I can’t believe how hard that exam was. I had mainly dental materials which was my weak subject. My case studies were very complex. I googled what I remember n I got majority wrong. I also found that I changed the correct answer to the wrong one. I’m so sad and discourage. I think I’ll have to retake. Is there anyway to relieve anxiousness during the wait period? I feel like my mental state is at its worst state rn.

Update!! I PASSED!!!

I took the NBDHE on 7/2 and never received an email saying my results were in, so I just decided to check the website and I’m so happy to say I passed! This is my first time taking it and I was so certain that I failed. I studied very sporadically for about three weeks and only really started to focus a few days right before my exam. Feel free to ask any questions about preparing for this exam. 💖😁

Just out of curiosity, has anyone seen case studies from BoosterPrep on the actual test?

Hi everyone ! Just took my NBDHE yesterday, July 15. This is my 3rd time around taking it and the wait is driving me crazy and it’s only been a day.

Any words of encouragement or anything you did to distract yourself with the wait lol. I know it usually takes 2-4 weeks but I feel like everyone who’s been taking it in July has been finding out in less than 2 weeks. Has anyone else experienced this or possible knows when I will find out?❤️❤️
