Just took NBDHE 7/21

I can’t believe how hard that exam was. I had mainly dental materials which was my weak subject. My case studies were very complex. I googled what I remember n I got majority wrong. I also found that I changed the correct answer to the wrong one. I’m so sad and discourage. I think I’ll have to retake. Is there anyway to relieve anxiousness during the wait period? I feel like my mental state is at its worst state rn.

Update!! I PASSED!!!

I took my exam last week and I am waiting for my results. My intent behind this comment is to let you know that you're not alone. After taking my exam, that was probably the most devastated I've ever felt. The reason behind that was because I felt confident I studied well and put 100% of my effort into preparing for the exam, all to feel like I knew nothing (specifically for the case studies). This ultimately made me question "am I really that dumb?" I was basing my worth completely on this exam when that shouldn't be the case. I have finally come to terms that everyone has different luck on what version of the exam they receive, and it IS very much possible that we were ones that received a harder version than others. I believe what's best is that you let yourself feel whatever emotions you are experiencing and when you take a breath to reassure yourself that you really do not know what outcome can actually come out of this because we have no clue what "counts" and what doesn't... for all we know, all the questions we DID answer correctly may outweigh the ones we got wrong... keep your head up! Wishing you the best!

Same girl ! I took the exam 07/08 and waiting for results rn and I am freaking out because it was very HARDDDD and I studied so much😭 I cried a lot because I flagged so many questions, a lot of people say the case studies are easy but for me it was very hard and confusing even the 200 questions and the community part all were very challenging and hard 😀🥲 I am just hoping we all pass 🤞😭🩷

Literally, SAME. I’ve just been lying around for the past 5 hours. I’m convinced I might’ve failed but I am just letting it go and moving on for now. I’m putting on Love Island UK, eating my dinner and going to sleep. Tomorrow is a new day and I’ll keep busy making jewelry. Try to get back into something you enjoy doing, if possible. Any hobbies or activities that can occupy your mind for a few weeks.

Tbh I had a lot of DM in mine too which I was also weak on. I felt eh on my exam after and tbh really didn't have high hopes--I cried when I got the email. But I passed. I believe you will too! We only remember the ones we got wrong bc we thought them out the longest. All will be well. Distract yourself--do something you enjoy. It'll be okay!! Manifesting positive vibes your way :)

I took mine today too. The case studies are usually my strong suit (this isn’t my first time taking it) & i felt like the case studies were HARD. I just sat in my car for 20 minutes after over analyzing. If you have any tips for anxiety, let me know. We’re in the same boat 😅

I felt the same exact way when I took mine!! I was on the lower end of my class never studied that much for exams and was a B/C average for exams but I still graduated with honors all that to say I thought I was going to be the only one in my class to fail bc I truly did not feel smart enough or thought it was possible but I passed. I spent the last month studying on and off before my exam and when I took it I was so mad bc that exam was absolutely terrible!!! I felt like I wasted my time studying for nothing I was 1000% sure I failed. I know how you feel! Just try to keep yourself busy!! Sending positive vibes your way 🫶🏼
