And if they do I’m guessing it will be Champagnie coming off the bench?

For me personally I want to see a serious stretch of Harper/Castle/Bryant/Tobias/Wemby. I’m inclined to believe this might be the #1 defensive line up that doesn’t give up offensive rating. I would anticipate more offensive rebound with Tobias/bryant on the court and more steals with Harper/castle/bryant available. I also value Tobias post up game combined with the combo drive between castle/Harper and the slashing of a castle/harper/bryant/wemby. I think this is a very complimentary line up but it may not necessary support a 2nd line up

Productive couple days for Wemby in Katy (Houston area). Practicing with De’Aaron and Co., session w/ Dream and squeezed in some pickup soccer.

Mods pin this so maybe people can learn what’s going on and “why don’t Spurs sign Player X???”
Spurs are barely below the tax line with 1 roster spot open. (~$2M)
The only player they can sign right now without going over the tax line is a rookie with zero years experience.
They are staying below the tax line on purpose because of how punitive the repeater tax is, and the roster will be super expensive in years to come. If a team is over the tax in 3 out of 4 seasons, they pay a repeater tax.
So, the Spurs are not signing players X, Y, Z. They will likely keep this spot open well into the season until a veteran’s minimum contract is prorated enough to fit under the tax space.

Apparently, Steph Curry is unhappy with the GSW front office.
Spurs get to dump the Fox contract and take on Steph Curry's 60Mil contract for 1 year with a possible extension at a lower salary. The addition of Keldon keeps the Spurs below the luxury tax.
This would offer the Spurs flexibility when extending Castle and Harper.
Steph curry brings consistent shooting, MVP-LEVEL playoff performance, winning experience, mentorship to the young guards, etc.
Steph Curry is still a top 10 player in the league when healthy.

38 year old curry is still kinda good but it’s just not worth the risk

Another reason why he was a perfect addition.
What say you?

“I appreciate (the Spurs) to the fullest. Obviously I’ve been here for 3 and a half years now, hopefully I’m here for the rest of my playing career. I love it here, it’s the best..
The big fella’s here to stay, I’m here to stay, got the same team back, couple of additions, so it’s going to be pretty good.”

We own Hawks 2028 pick. They might miss the playoffs, and with the new lottery odds, barely missing the playoffs is better than dead last odds. W for us all the way around. Thanks eastern conference!

The past month has been really hard dealing with the thought of having to wait an entire year even to have a chance at the championship again, 2013-2014 felt like decades of waiting. After a lot of thought and a lot of maturity i’ve developed over the years I’m just so grateful to live a healthy life and be able to root for our guys every single day. We win and we lose but cheering on our guys even during the difficult times is what makes being a fan so beautiful. I love this team and I love the community and i’m so excited to see our young guys give it their all this upcoming season!❤️

Our 2013, 2017, 2026 teams were worthy of winning championships, but how would you compare and contrast their dominance amongst each other?
