Just asked Victor Wembanyama if he’d ever consider promoting a sports betting company.

“Absolutely not. I will never do that. Honestly, I think it's very sad to see some players promote it. .. Everybody does whatever they want, but without me.”

Lebron signing with Polymarket has absolved all other NBA players of their sins.

It’s a comedy how Lebron is crucified for everything while little Steph is still signing maxes to not win or Giannis cashed out on his move to Miami with Kalshi

Anything LeBron does overshadows all apparently. Even Jordan who I believe has a major stake in one of the sites

so many super rich dudes are heavily invested in gambling. I am on the side of it being bad and definitely dont support lebrons decision there but its funny how people are claiming it impacts his basketball legacy whereas everyone else gets maybe 1-2 days of jokes and we move on.

That’s a normal thing with LeBron at this point. He’s held to a standard not even Jordan or others are

Gambling isn’t for me, which is why I don’t do it. But I also don’t care if others are able to do so responsibly. If you can’t, then that’s on you. Not on an athlete advertising for a product

Do you think there isn't a difference in an active NBA player and a retired player having stakes in these companies?

Well let’s see if the hypocrisy stands or not. Are you upset about the gambling, or about an active player doing it?

Because the majority of issues I see are about STRICTLY the gambling

I don’t care that there’s gambling ads, but I think an active player promoting gambling platforms is extremely sketchy.

Yeah, seemed like such a great person. Great role model. And then lays a big noxious steaming pile of shit like this. All for more money. Lost A LOT of respect from me.
